Senior Devops Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Devops Engineer (GCP): Owning, maintaining, and improving the critical infrastructure behind hirify.global, including several GKE clusters, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and MySQL clusters with an accent on automation, audit, and access control. Focus on improving infrastructure and application security and facilitating DevOps practices.

Location: Hybrid (1-2 days at the office)

What you will do

• Own, maintain, and improve the critical infrastructure behind hirify.global, including several GKE clusters, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and MySQL clusters.
• Introduce more automation, audit, and access control.
• Improve infrastructure and application security.
• Own and maintain the monitoring and alerting system.
• Facilitate and adhere to DevOps practices, such as Infrastructure as Code, and improve the developers' experience.

Requirements

• A developer with a passion for infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud, preferably GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Like Docker Helm and Github Actions).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with various internal stakeholders.
• A team-player.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, MySQL, RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Kubernetes GitOps tools.
• Experience operating JVM-based applications.
