TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (Security): Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, developing automation tools, and ensuring systems meet ISO security standards with an accent on secure, efficient software delivery. Focus on designing scalable, resilient infrastructure architectures, implementing security controls, and supporting ISO 27001 compliance initiatives.

Location: Onsite in Groningen

hirify.global is looking for a DevOps Engineer with a security focus to join their team.

What you will do

Design and develop internal tools, automation scripts, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/observability solutions.
Set up and manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Pulumi.
Support ISO 27001 compliance initiatives and audits.
Implement security controls and policies, conduct security assessments, and assist with incident response.
Perform internal penetration testing.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar).
Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi) and configuration management tools.
Understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Must be able to work onsite in Groningen.

Nice to have

ISO 27001 or other security certifications (CISSP, Security+, etc.).
Experience with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners) and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR).
Experience with GitOps workflows.
Background in both software development and systems administration.
