What you will do

• Deliver aspects of security procedures and processes aligned with BT's security strategy and policy.
• Provide security advice and consultancy to internal lines of business and external customers.
• Support security compliance relationships with national Government or industry bodies.
• Produce and support policies, functions, and configuration builds for customer project implementation.
• Administer various SIEM and EDR platforms, including content, playbooks, and processes.
• Support new security products and services to maintain market position.

Requirements

• Deep interest and passion for Cyber Security and threat intelligence.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Windows, Firewalls, Networking (NGFW), Cloud platforms, and Operational technology for in-depth troubleshooting and investigations.
• Ability to understand and interpret security architecture and how it achieves the customer’s security goals.
• Experience using AI and automation to streamline SOC processes.
• Experience in design and support of SIEM and EDR environments.
• Extensive experience supporting and designing SIEM/EDR/XDR/SOAR platforms and related processes.
• Relevant experience in architecting security solutions based on industry frameworks such as NIST, NCSC, Mitre, Cyber Kill Chain.
