Backend Engineer (PHP/Symfony/Docker)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale products.
• Ensure that all parts of the technical design are correctly incorporated.
• Write clear, tested, and documented code.
• Follow high engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and building highly scalable systems.
• Fluent English language and strong communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming paradigm (SOLID principles, design patterns).
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in code testing.
• Good understanding of web technologies (Rest API, HTTP, HTML, etc.).
• Must be allowed to work in Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI and test automation.
• Experience with modern PHP.
• Experience with Linux and containers (like Docker or Kubernetes).
• Experience with DevOps practices and implementations.
• Professional experience with statically typed language.
• Being active in the open-source community.
