Focus on driving technical strategy, ensuring best practices in IaC, K8s, and data, and fostering a collaborative, innovative engineering culture.

Location: Must live within commuting distance of Amsterdam, Netherlands

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and manage DevOps, Security, and Data engineering teams, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Drive technical strategy and direction for robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to prioritize, plan, and execute product features.
  • Ensure best practices in DevOps, Security, and Data engineering, including IaC, K8s, security testing, and data practices.
  • Provide technical leadership in architecture and design, making informed decisions on tools and technologies.
  • Manage performance, career development, and growth of team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Security, DevOps, or Data Engineering.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering teams, driving results, and delivering high-quality software products.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
