What you will do

• Manage a product engineering team in Sydney, including stand-ups, mentoring, and operational oversight.
• Deliver on the strategic product roadmap, collaborating with global hirify.global technology teams.
• Manage Product Release Cycles, ensuring sufficient testing, accurate release notes, and clear documentation.
• Analyze, triage, and prioritize JIRA tickets to track delivery and ensure adequate information for the team.
• Host client webinars and structured workshops to showcase features, gather detailed business needs, and present the global product roadmap.
• Establish and maintain regular feedback loops with clients, users, and internal stakeholders to validate product direction.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of core programming languages and tooling, including C#, SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud-native solutions and DevOps.
• Proven track record in Product Management or a related role within financial markets or superannuation.
• Strong understanding of Fund of Fund structures, exposure management, asset allocation, risk frameworks, and FX hedging processes.
• Demonstrated ability in presenting complex concepts to senior external stakeholders and clients clearly and concisely.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical groups.
• Applicants must hold an eligible Australian work visa or have permanent work rights in Australia.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Cloud experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and AI tooling & technologies highly desirable.
• Recognized project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master.
