What you will do

• Improve and extend a multi-faceted product suite encompassing various technologies and deployment environments.
• Facilitate the storage, processing, retrieval, and display of data such as point clouds, imagery, and video at scale.
• Engage key technical stakeholders to build requirements and define architectural standards.
• Maintain the integrity and high availability of the platform and cloud-based services.
• Provide architectural guidance and make key technical decisions for system maintainability and scalability.
• Work closely with customers and operational stakeholders to understand needs and support product adoption.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in software architecture, including designing complex systems.
• Strong, pragmatic technical skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies and AI-driven development tools.
• Experience building robust, user-friendly Windows desktop applications (C#, .NET, WPF).
• Experience with React-based web applications (TypeScript).
• Familiarity with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing requirements in an agile environment.
• Australian working rights are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• Experienced with C++ or video encoding and decoding, and programming with CUDA.
• Experience with 3D data display for web (high fidelity point clouds).
