What you will do
- Lead and scale a Forward Deployed Engineering team to deploy hirify.global solutions in high-impact, real-world environments.
- Collaborate with customers to deliver measurable business outcomes and solve complex technical challenges.
- Design and implement tailored API workflows, system integrations, and custom tools that align with strategic goals.
- Create reusable assets, tools, templates, and methodologies to accelerate future engagements.
- Serve as the link between customer needs and hirify.global’s product development, driving innovation.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships in emerging fields like AI to design API-centric solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in engineering leadership and management (Sr. Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering).
- Strong technical foundation: capable of reading/writing production code, building APIs, and debugging distributed systems.
- Customer-obsessed and energized by solving real problems with high business impact.
- Builder’s mindset: thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and creates process where none exists.
- Deep customer empathy and the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term platform evolution.
- Must be based in or willing to work from our SF HQ, 5 days/week, with occasional travel to customers.
