TL;DR
Senior Directory Services and M365 IT Engineer: Responsible for the management, security, system integration, and performance of directory services in the Microsoft and M365 environment with an accent on Active Directory and Azure Entra ID. What you will do
- Operate and further develop Active Directory, Entra ID, OAuth, LDAP, and backup/migration tools, ensuring stability, integrity, and availability.
- Define and enforce policies for user accounts, permissions, and directory structures.
- Integrate directory services into existing IT systems and applications.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements and apply best practices in identity and access management.
- Monitor and optimize performance and drive improvements in processes, tools, and automation.
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery concepts for directory services.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification.
- Certifications in Active Directory, Cloud, or AD/Cloud administration.
- Fluent German and English (minimum B2, ideally C1)
- Deep expertise in Active Directory and Azure Entra ID.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Modern Workplace.
- Experience with automation (Azure DevOps, Automation Accounts, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible)
