Solutions Engineer (Benelux)

Solutions Engineer (hirify.global/Cybersecurity): Collaborating with clients from ideation to production planning for hirify.global services with an accent on technical and industry advocacy, operational processes, and deep understanding of client problems. Focus on contributing energy and ideas to solve hard industry problems, developing adjacent technology expertise, and mastering technical advocacy for large clients in public and private sectors.

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with in-region travel (15–30 days per quarter) within Benelux.

What you will do

• Collaborate with clients from early-stage ideation to production planning for hirify.global services.
• Contribute ideas and opinions on solving industry problems and develop adjacent technology expertise.
• Provide good practice guidance and adopt a deploy-to-production mindset for operational processes.
• Develop deep understanding and partnership with large clients in local/central government and private sectors.
• Contribute to a body of knowledge across networking, cybersecurity, and edge computing.
• Manage technical validation projects to help customers make informed solution decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry (mid-level engineering).
• Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize competing demands.
• Strong fundamental understanding of how the internet works (TCP/UDP, DNS, firewall, TLS, HTTP).
• Understanding of customer buying decisions and ROI explanation.
• Knowledge of competitive landscape for DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, Developer platform, or Zero-Trust/SASE.
• Must be able to travel in-region (Benelux) 15–30 days per quarter.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a pre-sales SE or consulting role.
• Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash).
• Exposure to emerging trends like machine learning, GenAI, DevOps, security operations.
