What you will do
- Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure architecture solutions for the new digital stockbroking platform.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers to create and maintain the architectural runway for platform teams.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to elaborate on solutions, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
Requirements
- Designing and implementing complex, large-scale architecture solutions.
- Experience with common enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- Experience with Microservices, event-based architecture and API design.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Domain driven design principles and patterns.
- Delivering software solutions in financial services (particularly trading/investments or wealth).
- Delivering large scale data migrations (500k+ customers).
- Enterprise architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF.
