What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure architecture solutions for the new digital stockbroking platform.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers to create and maintain the architectural runway.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to elaborate on solutions, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives.
• Ensure alignment of architectural solutions with business goals and technology strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct architectural reviews, ensure adherence to best practices and standards, and identify/mitigate technical risks and issues.

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing complex, large-scale architecture solutions.
• Proficiency with common enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Knowledge of microservices, event-based architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to design solutions meeting complex security principles and practices.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in a regulated environment and designing to meet compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design principles and patterns.
• Delivering software solutions in financial services (particularly trading/investments or wealth).
• Delivering large scale data migrations (500k+ customers).
• Knowledge of Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
