Salary: £92,701 - £109,060

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure architecture solutions for the new digital stockbroking platform.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers to create and maintain the architectural runway for platform teams.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to elaborate on solutions, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.

Requirements

• Designing and implementing complex, large-scale architecture solutions.
• Experience with common enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Experience with Microservices, event-based architecture and API design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Domain driven design principles and patterns.
• Delivering software solutions in financial services (particularly trading/investments or wealth).
• Delivering large scale data migrations (500k+ customers).
• Enterprise architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF.
