What you will do

• Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques to unstructured text data to identify trends.
• Develop and experiment with large language model (LLM) solutions to automate analytical processes.
• Use machine learning and statistical methods to extract actionable insights from customer behavior and usage datasets.
• Communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences through clear written and verbal communication.
• Document, gather, and share best practices and insights to promote a data-driven culture.
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to understand business needs and support analytical deliverables.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate (sophomore or above) or graduate student, with an expected graduation date of 2027 or later, majoring in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis workflows and foundational machine learning concepts.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using data science libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or scikit-learn.

Nice to have

• Experience working with SQL and/or querying large datasets.
• Basic familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and models (e.g., BERT).
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), including prompt design and basic evaluation techniques.
