What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance a Backstage-powered developer portal.
• Improve developer workflows, centralize service discovery, and drive automation.
• Design and implement self-service workflows balancing automation and control.
• Ensure seamless integration of CI/CD pipelines, service catalogs, and observability tools.
• Drive adoption of the platform across diverse engineering teams.
• Maintain high availability and performance in a dynamic cloud environment.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with Golang, Python, or other backend languages.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to integrate internal tools with APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
• Understanding of observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
• Familiarity with OAuth, RBAC, and security best practices.
• Passion for developer experience, automation, and open-source contributions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Backstage or similar internal developer portals.
• Knowledge of Temporal or other workflow orchestration tools.
