Location: Remotely in the USA, Central U.S. (Austin, Dallas, Denver, Chicago and other locations in the region)

Salary: $274,000 - $313,000 USD OTE + Equity

What you will do

  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of 5+ Solutions Engineers across the Central US region.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Regional Sales Directors, owning the technical sales strategy for the region.
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex and enterprise-level opportunities.
  • Set and execute a clear regional vision for Solutions Engineering, aligning technical sales priorities with company objectives.
  • Drive operational excellence across the pre-sales function, including demo standardization and solution quality.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience to ensure seamless customer journeys.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring and performance management.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a comparable technical customer-facing role within a SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT architecture, including cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and security/compliance considerations.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for executive and technical stakeholders.
  • A structured, growth-oriented mindset with a track record of improving processes and driving operational rigor.
  • Strong executive presence and customer leadership skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Background in AI, conversational AI, automation, or workflow-driven SaaS solutions.
  • Experience scaling pre-sales functions in high-growth startup environments.
