What you will do

• Validate new backend features, review API specifications, and ensure backward compatibility.
• Write test plans, test cases, and automation for server endpoints.
• Conduct regression testing before deployments and verify data integrity and security constraints.
• Ensure uptime, reliability, and performance targets are met via load testing and monitoring validation.
• Collaborate with game teams to test game-specific server flows.
• Support production incidents by reproducing and validating fixes to ensure long-term stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on backend / server-side systems, ideally in games or large-scale live products.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, GS endpoints, HOST features, and validating JSON schemas with strict backward compatibility.
• Proven ability to design test strategies, write test plans/cases, and estimate testing effort for complex systems.
• Strong experience with API automation (Postman, Python, TypeScript, or custom frameworks).
• Experience in Postman Fiddler/Charles, Jenkins, Swagger.
• Ability to validate data integrity and security rules, including encrypted/public fields and data constraints.
