Engineering Manager (DevOps)

Engineering Manager (DevOps): Leading and mentoring a DevOps engineering team to automate the Software Development Lifecycle and maintain central development tooling for hirify.global's R&D, with an accent on CI/CD best practices, large-scale automation, and full-stack development for internal portals. Focus on driving development efficiency, ensuring security, and fostering team growth in a data-driven environment.

Location: Bangkok, Thailand. Relocation is provided for candidates.

What you will do

• Be hands-on, writing and reviewing code, and providing expert coaching to DevOps engineers.
• Maintain CI/CD best practices and automate security testing at a very large scale.
• Oversee central Dev-related systems for source control, CI, and service discovery.
• Bridge the gap between Development and Operations teams.
• Perform full-stack development for internal portals and tooling.
• Develop and inspire team members, and integrate new A-players into the business.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with the entire SDLC (Requirement, Design, Code, Test, Deploy).
• Experience running engineering teams with 5+ direct reports.
• Ability to operate autonomously, set KPIs, and demonstrate strong ownership.
• Practice data-driven decision making.
• Experience managing an Agile scrum team.
• Great coding skills in modern programming languages (preferably Python/Go).
• Knowledge of Development ecosystem tooling: Git, CI, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Work from Bangkok, Thailand.
• Relocation to Bangkok, Thailand is provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with Configuration Management tools (preferably Ansible).
• Experience coding a Full Stack application (preferably with React.js and Go).
• Experience working with Container orchestration (preferably Kubernetes).
• Experience with Hashicorp tools (Consul / Vault).
• Experience with both SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Elastic, MSSQL).
