TL;DR

Associate Lead 3D Artist (Gamedev): Overseeing 3D asset creation and ensuring high-quality environments for mobile games with an accent on Unity integration and adherence to artistic and technical standards. Location: Hybrid in Jakarta, ID, requiring office presence 3 days a week.

What you will do

  • Ensure consistent quality and style across all environments, working closely with the Art Director and Lead 3D Artist.
  • Review 3D team’s output in 3D DCC and in Unity, providing constructive feedback.
  • Prioritize and plan the project’s 3D needs with the Art Producer.
  • Collaborate with the technical artist to create assets that match the gameplay vision.
  • Highlight and mitigate issues that put the project at risk.
  • Guide new joiners to adapt quickly to the pipeline & processes and improve the pipeline with Lead.

Requirements

  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience as an Environment 3D Artist and 1 year of experience as a Lead Artist in the gaming industry.
  • Proficient in Blender and good understanding of Unity.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa.
  • Proven abilities in optimized 3D asset creation.
  • A passion and understanding of world-building and matching art direction.
  • A strong understanding of shape, form, and composition.
