What you will do
- Conduct user research, develop user insights, and champion user needs across product areas.
- Share findings concisely and skillfully through presentations and clear documentation.
- Promote and shape a data-informed culture by integrating user research into decision-making flows.
- Build research scalability and interoperability by owning research ops infrastructure.
- Contribute to the evolving definition of User Science through user-centered training and outreach.
Requirements
- Exceptional academic track record with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, or similar.
- Deep research expertise: Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, surveys, and data analysis.
- Strong technical curiosity and an alignment with open-source culture.
- Proficiency in visual design and/or information design to translate complex data into convincing visuals.
- Talent for storytelling and collaboration to effectively explain research findings to diverse audiences.
- Meticulous organization and the ability to transform scattered findings into cohesive, structured knowledge systems.
- A robust portfolio showcasing a range of user research and/or design projects that highlight the ability to derive actionable insights and influence product design, strategy, or organizational change.
