Data Scientist (Developer Tools)

TL;DR

Data Scientist (Developer Tools): Partnering with cross-functional teams to shape strategic decisions through metrics, experiments, and insights, and build models and analytical frameworks to support product, marketing, platform, or finance initiatives. Focus on owning complex data projects end-to-end and championing data quality across the organization.

What you will do

• Partner with teams to set and assess metrics, conduct experiments, and reveal insights that shape strategic decisions.
• Build models and analytical frameworks to support product, marketing, platform, or finance initiatives.
• Develop tools, datasets, and systems that enable others to work with data more efficiently and rigorously.
• Own complex data projects end-to-end, from problem scoping to solution delivery.
• Champion data quality, accessibility, and the democratization of data across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Fluency in SQL and proficiency in a scripting language like Python or R.
• Experience with distributed data systems (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Presto, Hive, Spark).
• Strong foundation in statistical methods, experimentation, and/or forecasting.
• A track record of working cross-functionally and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience supporting one or more of the following: Product, Marketing, Finance, or internal Platform/Tooling teams.
