Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid) - In office 2-3 days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu)

Salary: $65-75/hr W2 ONLY ($10,400-$12,000/month)

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) providing self-service access to cloud application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Create paved roads and golden paths balancing developer autonomy with organizational standards and policy enforcement.
• Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code modules representing approved infrastructure and application patterns.
• Implement automated workflows and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, updates, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with application teams to understand needs and shape intuitive platform interfaces.
• Embed security, compliance, and governance requirements directly into platform workflows and continuously improve based on feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, OPA)
• 2+ years’ experience working with Azure cloud
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
