What you will do
- Apply the project’s artistic direction when creating textures for environments and objects.
- Collaborate with 3D modellers to understand shapes, materials, and visual context.
- Produce textures such as normal maps, roughness maps, and albedo maps within a Physically Based Rendering (PBR) pipeline.
- Optimize the quantity and reuse of textures to balance quality and performance.
- Generate accurate object mapping for assigned assets.
- Check texture quality in the game engine and make improvements where needed.
Requirements
- Strong team collaboration skills with openness to feedback.
- Keen observation skills and attention to visual details.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and creative direction.
- Proficiency with Substance Painter and Substance Designer in a professional context.
- Working knowledge of tools such as ZBrush, Adobe Photoshop, 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, and Marmoset Toolbag.
- English: B2+ required.
