TL;DR

HR Analytics Manager (Workday): Leading and executing a comprehensive data strategy for HR analytics, delivering actionable insights to support informed decision-making. Focus on designing, developing, and maintaining global HR reporting within Workday and other systems, ensuring data governance, and translating complex data into meaningful narratives.

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid in Buffalo, NY, USA. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $130,000–$155,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead the HR Analytics function, defining and executing a data strategy for data-driven decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday and other HR systems.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Partner with HR COEs, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to align on critical metrics and deliver predictive insights.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement in HR analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Over five (5) years of experience in HR analytics, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
  • Over three (3) years of experience in Workday reporting and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security principles.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

Nice to have

  • Advanced proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in predictive modeling and workforce analytics.
  • Exposure to global HR operations and compliance requirements.
