With an accent on designing and developing foundational infrastructure and distributed microservices running on containers on public cloud platforms. Focus on resolving complex technical issues and driving innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance in large-scale, highly available distributed systems.

What you will do

• Design and develop foundational infrastructure and distributed microservices running on containers (Docker, Kubernetes) deployed on public cloud platforms such as Alibaba, AWS, or GCP.
• Deliver cloud infrastructure automation using tools such as Spinnaker, Terraform, and Helm charts.
• Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance.
• Collaborate with peers within an Agile and highly dynamic team environment.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to keep services operational and highly available.

Requirements

• Proficiency with at least one high-level programming language such as Java, Golang, or Python.
• Experience developing on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Alibaba.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes frameworks such as EKS or GKE.
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, or AWS DynamoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical degree.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and deliver high quality code in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Cloud infrastructure automation tools such as Spinnaker, Terraform, Helm charts.
• Prior experience in Security Engineering such as PKI, Secrets Management, and IAM.
• Prior experience with large scale, highly available distributed systems.
