What you will do
- Recruit, lead, and develop an agile team of 5–7 mobile engineers (React Native).
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for the design and delivery of greenfield iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Define and uphold mobile engineering standards, best practices, and architectural principles.
- Lead the integration of mobile platforms with backend services using GraphQL APIs and third-party systems.
- Take ownership of the agile software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and release processes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years commercial experience building mobile applications (iOS/Android) and at least 4 years leading engineering teams.
- High proficiency in cross-platform development with React Native, front-end design patterns, and mobile SDLC.
- Proven experience with REST/GraphQL API integration for mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of mobile application fundamentals: iOS/Android app lifecycle, performance, release management.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using version control.
- Strong communication and articulation skills to navigate and lead discussions.
