What you will do

• Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle development software from inception to production.
• Drive complex changes involving multiple components and guide product feature changes.
• Deliver quality changes, including automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
• Implement and maintain product features while understanding business objectives.
• Validate changes to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Work in a distributed system environment and understand system architecture fundamentals.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, or Scala.
• 2+ years of software development, engineering experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s level degree in a computer-science or relevant engineering related field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with database engines (Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, AeroSpike, Vertica, Redis).
• Experience building micro-services, operating systems and cloud technologies like Kubernetes and Kafka.
