Senior Java Developer (Cloud)

TL;DR

Senior Java Developer (Cloud): Building and scaling new and existing products with real end-to-end ownership of the service, code, and outcomes with an accent on designing and building scalable, robust applications in cloud environments. Focus on contributing to architecture, testing/automation, and delivering value quickly as a consultant.

Location: Hybrid (Stockholm). Must be based in Sweden with Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency.

What you will do

• Build and scale new and existing products with end-to-end ownership of service, code, and outcomes.
• Work across the full tech stack (e.g., frontend, integrations, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, data flows) to ship complete solutions.
• Design and build scalable, robust applications in cloud environments.
• Contribute to architecture and testing/automation efforts.
• Play an active role in a high-trust, high-performing team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building backends with Java.
• Cloud-native background using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS / GCP / Azure and Terraform.
• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Must be based in Sweden with Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency.

Nice to have

• Experience from additional languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Scala, Kotlin.
