What you will do

• Design and implement mathematical models and algorithms to optimize courier assignment and system performance.
• Deploy and integrate developed OR approaches into technological infrastructure, effectively utilizing cloud systems, event stores, and other relevant tools.
• Design medium to large-scale systems with superior technical standards, identifying improvements through monitoring and experimentation.
• Dive deep into large-scale geospatial and real-time data to analyze complex sets and derive actionable recommendations for process optimization.
• Contribute to long-term planning meetings and roadmap decisions, creating business cases for new initiatives and delivering on commitments made during planning.
• Translate complex technical findings and OR concepts into understandable insights for non-technical business leaders to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 4 to 5 years of professional experience in Operations Research or a related field.
• OR Expertise: Advanced knowledge of OR techniques, modeling languages and solvers.
• Programming Skills: Experience with Java. Knowledge of Python is a plus. Experience with Github workflows, containerization and cloud environments.
• Project Mastery: A holistic approach to projects, from problem identification and business case creation to managing the full model lifecycle and maintaining production systems.
