What you will do

• Develop and enhance robust front-end digital solutions for The Times and Sunday Times.
• Optimise existing capabilities and execute experiments to achieve key business outcomes.
• Partner with internal and external digital platform teams to integrate permanent features.
• Manage code reviews and pull requests, ensuring high standards for performance and security.
• Participate in technical discussions and business meetings to scope development requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Javascript (vanilla JS and DOM manipulation), HTML, and CSS to build content-driven experiences.
• Experience utilizing A/B testing and experimentation tooling such as Optimizely or similar platforms.
• Skilled at integrating third-party vendor solutions alongside proprietary first-party codebases.
• Solid understanding of automation testing and maintaining valuable test suites.
• Ability to navigate new codebases quickly and apply agile methodologies within a collaborative team.
• Passion for well-crafted code with a focus on architecture and engineering best practices.
