TL;DR

Director, Partnerships (Fintech): Building partnerships strategy for the organization focusing on scaling the brand and business through third-party referral relationships. Focus on identifying the right organizations with which to partner to drive acquisition at scale.

Location: Open to candidates in Canada and the United States with occasional travel to Toronto; for Toronto-based candidates, in-office attendance 2x/week is expected.

Salary: CA$145,000 to CA$182,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Build the vision for referral partnerships at hirify.global, focusing on identifying organizations to partner with to drive acquisition at scale.
  • Evaluate the partner market landscape to recruit, onboard, and operationalize each partnership, working with internal teams across product, technology, sales, and marketing.
  • Lead two direct reports across partner acquisition and partner growth.
  • Take a data-informed approach to performance monitoring, leveraging internal tools and a partner relationship management platform.
  • Set the strategy for partner incentives and ongoing partner management to drive mutual benefit and efficient growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, including regular business reviews to identify areas of opportunity to achieve shared objectives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, channel management, business development, or adjacent growth roles within a SaaS, platform, or technology-enabled business.
  • Deep referral, co-marketing, and co-sell experience from a relevant industry.
  • Channel management, sales, and/or business development experience.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing large partnerships.
  • Background in SaaS, platform, and community-building partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills for market analysis, program measurement, and ROI assessment.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with platforms like Partnerstack.
  • Experience in payments and payments technology.
  • Experience with deep partnerships requiring product integration.
  • Corporate development experience.
