What you will do

• Design and coordinate the implementation of a new high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other developers to integrate online backend features into the game.
• Work with proprietary existing software technology and build innovative solutions.
• Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions.
• Provide feedback regarding the time allotted to assigned tasks.

Requirements

• 2+ years designing robust, high performance scalable systems, or solid experience with C++.
• Working knowledge of both backend and game-side languages.
• Experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
• Commitment to code quality, documentation, and sound testing procedures.
• Realtime multiplayer peer-to-peer or client-server experience.
• Shipped one or more game titles.

Nice to have

• Experience developing for game consoles.
