What you will do

• Collaborate with various departments to integrate VFX and dependent technology into productions.
• Optimize workflow efficiency and identify innovative tools and techniques.
• Maintain industry standards for quality and performance.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in VFX processes including USD, Omniverse & AI.
• Design, implement, and oversee visual effects systems and tools across all projects.

Requirements

• Proficient with Houdini API, Hscript, and software development for Houdini pipeline is a particular emphasis.
• Experience developing USD pipelines in Houdini and Solaris is crucial.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry-standard VFX software and tools including Autodesk Maya, Nuke, and Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency in Python, familiarity with common APIs and SDKs.
• Familiarity with Rez for package management, Git for source control, and JIRA for tracking and communication.
• Understanding of cloud-based solutions and distributed computing for scalable rendering, devops, and storage options.
• Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
