What you will do

• Lead the motion graphic production and post-production of animations using internal proprietary processes and tools as well as industry-standard methods.
• Direct and inform animation expertise on projects both in creative and technical execution.
• Work directly with designers, developers, and producers to prototype creative direction.
• Effectively lead a team of motion graphic production artists, ensuring they have the information and assets they need to meet quality standards and timelines.
• Coordinate with producers, traffic, design, development, content management, and international teams to meet project goals.
• Identify and help implement opportunities for process, automation, design, file formatting, and technical improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in hands-on, high-volume motion graphic production for entertainment business lines (or equivalent), of which 2-3 years were in a senior role that included managing projects & animation creation.
• After Effects expertise in compositing and UI animation, with scripting and expressions a plus.
• Firm understanding of 3D practices and its integration with After Effects.
• Photoshop knowledge and expertise, including but not limited to smart objects, resolution, and file export options.
• Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge.
• Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Sketch and Principle.
• Illustrator knowledge and expertise pertaining to vector based animations.
• Maya/Cinema4D to After Effects workflow experience a plus.
• Batch production, Adobe, Javascript, and Mac-based scripting experience a plus.
• Render farm setup and usage experience also a plus.
