What you will do

• Create lighting scenes in Maya with assets from animation and effects departments.
• Composite rendered shots in Nuke to create the final shot.
• Tweak provided light rigs, render set-ups, and compositing templates.
• Optimise render settings and monitor renders within time budget.
• Work collaboratively with the lighting and compositing team, Team Lead, and Post Production Supervisor.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and solve errors and glitches.

Requirements

• Knowledge of atmospheric lighting, colour grading, and denoising render.
• Proficiency with Nuke software for compositing render layers.
• Ability to receive feedback and respond well to direction.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to develop skillset.
• Creative problem-solving skills and reliability to work independently.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python scripting.
• Experience using After Effects and FTrack.
• Knowledge of shading and understanding of a 3D production pipeline.
