Data Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Data Engineer (Fintech): Integrating new, bespoke, in-house wealth management software with new clients with an accent on CI/CD pipelines and the deployment process. Focus on reviewing and improving how code and products go to production and contributing ideas for future functions and improvements.

Location: This is a UK based role and as such applicants based outside the UK can not be considered

Salary: £60000.00 - £80000.00 per annum

What you will do

• Integrate my client's new, bespoke, in-house wealth management software with a queue of new clients.
• Plan for V2 and contribute your own ideas for future functions and improvements.
• Focus on CI/CD pipelines and the deployment process.
• Review and improve how code and products go to production.

Requirements

• 3+ years commercial experience in Data Engineering
• SQL Server
• Spark SQL
• Strong Python coding skills
• PySpark
• Azure experience including Azure SQL, Data Factory and Functions
• Experience collaborating with Software and Test Engineers
• Creating, documenting and maintaining database schemas
