Senior Sales Engineer

What you will do

• Support the sales team in technical aspects of the sales process, including presentations and demos.
• Conduct product proof-of-value, from initial requirements to achieving objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners.
• Act as a conduit of technical requirements between hirify.global and clients.
• Provide technical account management and support.

Requirements

• Relational database experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Sybase, or DB2).
• Customer-facing experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, consulting, or support.
• Experience with High Availability, Scalability, Performance, Security concepts.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMWare Cloud, or OpenStack.
• Collaborative with internal teams and external stakeholders, with a solutions focus.
• 4-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, Microservices, PaaS (OpenShift, CloudFoundry).
• Knowledge of Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, C/C++ using database connectors (JDBC, Python, Node.js, ODBC).
