TL;DR

Sales Representative: Developing and executing personal sales strategies, generating leads, and managing a strong pipeline of qualified prospects with an accent on building prospect/customer relationships and articulating product value. Focus on understanding local government sale cycles, managing monthly bookings forecasts, and maintaining proposal integrity.

Location: Must be based in the United States; travel within North America may be required.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute personal sales strategies and generate leads.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and customer relationships.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals and lead effective sales presentations.
  • Manage opportunity status and monthly bookings forecasts in Hubspot.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of products and articulate their value.
  • Contribute to product collateral and strengthen partnerships and associations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software or institutional sales management.
  • Demonstrated strength in “hunter” sales, including prospecting activities.
  • Extensive understanding of local government (County & Municipal) sale cycles.
  • Superior oral and written skills in English.
  • Strong business development experience.
  • Experience successfully carrying a sales quota.

Nice to have

  • Experience in non-profit industries.
