What you will do
- Scope and size opportunities, partnering with sales teams and clients to assess requirements.
- Design and recommend tailored architectures leveraging deep knowledge of virtualization, IBM, and HCL support solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients toward optimal solutions and drafting clear Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Support the sales cycle, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and collaborate with sales leadership.
- Define pricing and margins for proposed solutions, balancing profitability with competitiveness.
- Create and maintain solution collateral, including presentations, case studies, and white papers, to support sales efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in presales or technical sales within the software industry.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (server, database, and mainframe) and IBM/HCL software support models.
- Familiarity with ISV ecosystems and integrated solution design.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels with proven sales competencies.
- Must be based in the United States; candidates in Hawaii cannot be considered.
