What you will do

• Develop web services that drive hirify.global Player and public-facing radio websites.
• Build APIs and tools that drive mobile apps, Alexa, and Google Home devices.
• Work on internal editorial and content systems that feed public-facing products.

Requirements

• English: B2 required
• Work format: Onsite in Holborn, London
• Strong commercial development experience using Python.
• Strong grasp of OOP fundamentals and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with VCS, preferably Git.
• Experience working with relational database systems and ORM frameworks.
• Dedication to testing, including writing and maintaining unit tests and an enthusiasm for test-driven development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django, Flask, or Sanic.
• Experience with GraphQL or asyncio.
• Experience scaling web systems to cope with millions of users.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch or other Lucene-based search servers.
• Experience with agile practices.
