What you will do

• Lead administration, configuration, and optimization of core Azure services (Azure Apps, AKS, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Log Analytics, ADF).
• Lead platform support for Databricks and Azure data platform environments, focusing on best practices, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Drive implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects to ensure rapid and reliable deployments.
• Support version upgrades and migrations of data platform components like ADF connectors, Jenkins pipelines, and Storage accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Analytics, Product, IT) to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Define and enforce data engineering standards, security protocols, and compliance measures across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-9 years of experience in data platform management or cloud engineering, with at least 2 years in coaching and mentoring.
• Deep expertise in Azure services, including Azure Apps, AKS, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Log Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks.
• Strong background in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Proven experience architecting and managing disaster recovery (DR) solutions for data applications.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with big data technologies, ETL/ELT processes, and programming languages (Python, Scala, SQL).
