TL;DR

Senior UX Designer (Fintech): Leading strategic planning and hands-on design for the Investcentre platform with an accent on creating seamless user experiences across desktop and mobile. Focus on contributing to design systems, overseeing usability testing processes, and influencing design strategy at senior levels.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester, London, or Bristol (UK). Minimum 50% of working time per month in the office. New team members will have an initial full-time in-office period.

What you will do

  • Lead strategic planning of design initiatives, aligning with business goals and influencing senior decision-making.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach to design, creating seamless user experiences across desktop and mobile.
  • Develop and maintain components in a Figma library, contributing to design guidelines and component libraries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and nurture team collaboration.
  • Make informed and strategic design decisions, balancing user needs, business, and creative goals.
  • Design and oversee comprehensive usability testing using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a UX role, ideally with financial services background.
  • Expertise in prototyping software (Figma).
  • Deep understanding of user psychology and accessibility.
  • Experience in guiding other team members and juggling multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively.
  • English: B2 required
