What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop multi-disciplinary Agile teams (typically 6–8 engineers per team).
- Champion high-quality software delivery through modern engineering practices (CI/CD, test automation, observability, quality gates).
- Ensure teams have optimal processes, workflows, and tooling for success, delivering commitments on time.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Domain Architects to translate business requirements into technical outcomes.
- Proactively explore, experiment with, and apply AI tools and agentic frameworks (e.g., code generation, test automation, developer productivity).
- Encourage AI adoption within engineering workflows and product capabilities, partnering with AI/ML SMEs.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in people management.
- Proven experience with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and quality-focused development.
- Track record of building and scaling teams, processes, and product impact.
- Experience leading mobile and backend development teams is essential.
- Highly likely to have been a Principal or Staff Engineer prior to transitioning into an Engineering Manager role.
Nice to have
- Experience with identity management systems or related domains.
- Exposure to banking, payments, or SaaS.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI to boost productivity and innovation.
