What you will do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python (3.11+) and Databricks/PySpark, optimizing SQL for data transformation.
• Work with Azure services, automate infrastructure using Bicep, and follow Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) and manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes.
• Integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka and orchestrate workflows with Airflow.
• Own the full lifecycle of data engineering solutions, from design to production support, ensuring code quality and performance.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in IT, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Independent, accurate, and delivery-focused mindset.
• Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and analytical problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced Azure services and security hardening.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Familiarity with financial risk systems or IFRS9 processes.
