What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and document proprietary software for film productions.
• Analyze existing workflows and procedures related to the company Pipeline.
• Liaise with IT, Production, and Show TD teams to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Design and optimize database schemas to support production data workflows and asset management systems.
• Implement data migration strategies and maintain database performance.
• Proactively identify risks and propose improvements to the current system.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in VFX or animation industries.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is desirable.
• Databases experience (RDBMS and/or Non-Relational DB) like PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Extensive experience in database schema design and optimization for production environments.
• Strong knowledge of writing efficient code in Python3+.
• Familiarity with task management systems like Agile Sprint, Jira, Scrums.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Spanish is a bonus.
• Knowledge of Production front end systems and libraries.
• CMAKE, Make, or other build system knowledge is a bonus.
