Freelance Senior Project Manager (Retail Design)

TL;DR

Senior Project Manager (Retail Design): Managing design projects for global brands with an accent on project planning, budget management, and client communication. Focus on streamlining processes, risk assessment, and ensuring seamless delivery of complex retail and digital experiences.

Location: Hybrid. 3 days a week from our East London studio in E10 and 2 flexible days.

Salary: £6,000–£8,000 per month (Day rate: £300-£400 per day)

What you will do

• Develop comprehensive project plans for multiple projects including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Maintain regular and transparent client communication, keeping them informed and addressing feedback proactively.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, creating estimates, and ensuring projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
• Create and manage multiple project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and critical milestones achieved.
• Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences and manage client relationships through feedback and issue resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Project Managing design for windows, permanent retail spaces, digital experiences, and pop ups.
• Strong project and client management experience within the retail and brand experience industry.
• Excellent understanding of the world of retail and brand experience and the design and production process.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides & Docs), Mondays.com (or similar PM tools), HubSpot (or similar Sales & Marketing tools), and Synergist (or similar software).
• Highly competent in financial management of projects, including setup, tracking, and billing.
• Work hybrid 3 days a week from East London studio in E10.
