Application Support Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Application Support Manager (Fintech): Leading the technical integration of software/products in the client’s environment with an accent on driving the integration of the product onto the client’s infrastructure (cloud and on-premise). Focus on configuration application releases and proactively participating in technical discussions with the client.

What you will do

• Support the client in the implementation of the necessary infrastructure.
• Manage and configure application releases or guide the customer to do so.
• Configure the application according to the requirements provided by the client.
• Proactively participate in the technical discussions with the client on infrastructure changes and upgrades.
• Interpret error logs and identify corrective actions to be taken.
• Coordinate version upgrades for existing clients.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases.
• Understanding of Docker ecosystem concepts.
• Good knowledge of network communications (HTTP, SSL, familiar with curl / wget, etc).
• Good knowledge of the Linux environment (scripting, env variables, etc.).
• Decent experience with information system troubleshooting.
• Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking software and knowledge of financial products and wealth management are advantageous.
• DevOps experience is a strong plus, especially on Kubernetes, Openshift.
• Proven experience driving or supporting IT projects (Agile or Waterfall).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and/or ITIL processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
