TL;DR

Vice President, Data Science & Product Analytics (AdTech): Driving data-centric product and business decision-making by leading proactive insight generation and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams. Focus on uncovering hidden problems, guiding product strategy through causal understanding of marketplace behavior, and ensuring insights translate into measurable product outcomes.

Location: Onsite in New York, United States

Salary: $300,000–$350,000 + Bonus & Equity

What you will do

  • Own product analytics and performance diagnostics across the marketplace.
  • Lead deep-dive investigations into auction outcomes, funnels, supply quality, and user behavior.
  • Develop frameworks to surface hidden performance issues and optimization opportunities.
  • Influence product strategy by connecting analytical findings to business impact.
  • Own experimentation, causal inference, and incrementality frameworks.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, compelling narratives to shape roadmap and investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in product analytics and experimentation, including A/B testing, causal inference, and KPI forecasting.
  • Strong statistical foundation and ability to interpret complex experimental and causal results.
  • Advanced SQL skills, experience with large event-level datasets, and fluency with modern analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Databricks).
  • Strong product and business intuition, with a track record of influencing product strategy and connecting insights to P&L impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior analytical teams and communicate complex insights to executive audiences.
  • 12+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, experimentation, or performance measurement and a degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar).
