TL;DR

Internal Audit Manager (Technology and Cyber): Leading and delivering high-quality assurance reviews across Cyber Security, IT Change, IT Governance, and Operational Resilience with an accent on regulatory expectations and industry frameworks. Focus on providing risk-focused insights, driving meaningful impact through audit insights and supporting continuous improvement of the audit methodology.

Location: Hybrid, with three days in the office in London, England, GB.

What you will do

  • Lead and deliver a portfolio of high-quality assurance reviews across Cyber Security, IT Change, IT Governance, and Operational Resilience.
  • Evaluate control environment design and operating effectiveness for relevant audits.
  • Contribute to annual and rolling audit planning by participating in ongoing assurance needs assessments and horizon scanning.
  • Engage with governance forums and control owners, sharing insights and promoting a collaborative control culture.
  • Support continuous improvement of the audit methodology, tools, and reporting practices.
  • Demonstrate inclusive, collaborative behaviors and contribute to a one-team culture.

Requirements

  • Strong background in internal audit, risk or assurance within financial services.
  • Proven experience in any of the following: Cyber Security, IT Change, IT Governance, and Operational Resilience audits.
  • Applied working knowledge of cyber and/or IT frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO27001), and alignment with COSO and IIA Standards.
  • Applied working knowledge of relevant regulatory expectations.
  • Critical thinker with a growth mindset and strong collaboration skills.
