What you will do
- Own projects end-to-end with clarity, technical excellence, and accountability for high-quality standards.
- Act as a bar raiser, elevating quality and coding standards, and driving continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and reliable automated tests across frontend and backend using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Contribute to and evolve the overall testing strategy, improving QA processes and metrics.
- Prepare and review test plans, perform manual and exploratory testing, and document/track defects.
- Advocate for user experience and product quality, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer.
- 3+ years of proven experience in test automation across frontend and backend using Playwright.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence across technical and product teams.
- Experience defining and driving test automation standards and mentoring QA engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience writing and maintaining Ruby on Rails code.
- Experience with observability and error tracking tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, Sentry).
- Experience with accessibility testing and best practices.
