What you will do

• Own projects end-to-end with clarity, technical excellence, and accountability for high-quality standards.
• Act as a bar raiser, elevating quality and coding standards, and driving continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient and reliable automated tests across frontend and backend using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Contribute to and evolve the overall testing strategy, improving QA processes and metrics.
• Prepare and review test plans, perform manual and exploratory testing, and document/track defects.
• Advocate for user experience and product quality, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer.
• 3+ years of proven experience in test automation across frontend and backend using Playwright.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence across technical and product teams.
• Experience defining and driving test automation standards and mentoring QA engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience writing and maintaining Ruby on Rails code.
• Experience with observability and error tracking tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, Sentry).
• Experience with accessibility testing and best practices.
