Location: Hybrid working model, based in our Dublin, Ireland office 2-3 days a week, with expected travel to hirify.global’s offices across the EU from time to time.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the EU Operational Risk Framework and Enterprise Risk Strategy.
• Formulate and oversee the operational risk appetite and the Bank’s Risk Appetite Framework.
• Lead governance of operational risk policies, perform assurance testing, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead scenario analysis, validate operational risk capital models, and oversee operational resilience initiatives.
• Provide second-line (2LoD) oversight across ICT, Information Security, Payments, and Third-Party/Outsourcing risks.
• Lead the ‘Office of the CRO’ function, overseeing resource planning, budgeting, and secretariat services.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Operational and Enterprise Risk Management within a banking environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a significant leadership capacity.
• Strong subject matter expertise across ICT, Information Security, Third Party and Outsourcing, Payments and Business Continuity risks.
• Proven track record navigating CBI, EBA, and ECB/SSM regulatory landscapes.
• Proficiency in the full risk toolkit, including RCSA, KRIs/KCIs, Control Testing, and Scenario Analysis.
• Detailed understanding of digital banking products and unique risk/control challenges in high-growth financial technology.
• Experience setting up and running operational risk and outsourcing processes in Ireland / the EU, and previously holding a PCF role or equivalent.
