What you will do

  • Manage daily sales activities, pipelines, and administration to achieve individual sales targets for the event.
  • Proactively execute the show strategy, targeting new and existing businesses.
  • Identify and target key new business prospects through visits to competitor and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, arrange meetings, and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Negotiate agreements and create detailed written proposals to close sales effectively.
  • Regularly review personal sales performance, attend team meetings, and participate in training sessions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within exhibitions, sponsorship, or events.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive, comfortable managing multiple sales pipelines.
  • A team player who contributes positively to a collaborative environment.
  • Able to handle objections effectively and eager to learn and develop new sales techniques.
